WELCOME TO OUR LITTLE SLICE OF PARADISE

A GUIDE FOR OUR GUESTS

Our home on Campobello Island, New Brunswick, Canada - just over the border (by bridge) from the town of Lubec, Maine -  has been our place to escape the harried nonsense of the outside world since we built here in 2005.

We have been fortunate to share our home with many friends and family over the years, and have made many good friends among the remarkable and talented people who are our neighbors... and appreciate this place as much as we do.

Wander around and you'll soon discover why Campobello is so special to us.

Peter and Patty McCormick

Our home was designed by Robert Knight, AIA, of Blue Hill, Maine, as part of his Lucia's Little Houses portfolio of coastal Maine-flavored small house designs. Built in 2004/2005, the coastal climate took its toll on the siding, deck and roof, requiring all to be replaced in 2020/21 (see inset below). This time we selected composite materials and steel roofing so it won't have to be done again, at least in our lifetimes. We also added a storage shed (finally!) and a small "perch" at the edge of the bluff.

The new perch (above). The dogs know how to chill here too.
